AFTERCARE TREATMENT FOR YOUR TATTOO
Taking care of a new Tattoo is a fairly easy process, but it does take a lot of dilgence. A poorly taken care of tattoo will scab, and scabs are the enemy of any fresh tattoo. Once they scab, you risk losing color and then all that time you spent in the chair is wasted.
Tattoos must be washed thoroughly with just your hand (no washcloths, loofahs, sponges etc.) and hot soapy water. Make sure to wash off any dried blood or ink as well as anything that may have come in contact with your new tattoo. Once your tattoo is completely washed pat it dry with a fresh towel or let it air dry in a clean environment. This needs to be repeated 3 times a day for 7-10 days, or as needed by your body. Everyone is different and requires their own specific form of healing.
This is a general guide that has been proven safe and effective to have a tattoo that not only heals correctly but lasts the test of time with the vibrancy and boldness you expect from a quality shop like the Inkeeper’s!
